In 2008, Kale joined Western Equipment Finance, a division of Western State Bank, as a Commercial Analyst. He transitioned to the bank in 2010 as Business/Ag Banking Officer. Now, he works with customers to provide financial solutions for both commercial businesses and farming operations.

Kale earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. He is a Devils Lake Park Board commissioner, past president of the DL Chamber, and was Chamber Member of the Year in 2015. He serves on the Ramsey County Housing Board, is a Shriner, a Master Mason and is a member of the DL Elks Lodge. Kale is the founder and manager of the ND State Pond Hockey Championships, started in 2009.
