Patty Bye, VP/Retail Banking Manager

Patty is our VP/Retail Banking Manager in Devils Lake. As a veteran of the banking industry and the Western team, she brings over 40 years of experience to her role, having worked for Western since 1978.

She loves the variety of customer interactions and continuous learning that her day-to-day work brings. “Banking is always changing,” she says. “I learn something new every day and love assisting customers with their financial needs, which keeps my job interesting.”

The rest of Patty’s team shares her passion for learning and providing great service to customers. “I have an absolutely awesome team,” she shares. “They are knowledgeable, willing to learn, and want to do anything and everything possible to make sure they provide exceptional service to make each customer experience enjoyable.”

As a lifelong resident of the city, Patty also loves how small and close-knit the community of Devils Lake is. “I was born and raised in Devils Lake. I love that it’s a smaller community where you know most everyone in one way or another.”

Important Update About QuickBooks Access for Business Accounts

Beginning November 1, 2021, we'll offer direct QuickBooks access to accounts in business online banking. If you use QuickBooks, this means you'll be able to sync your accounts between QuickBooks and business online banking.

If you currently access QuickBooks through personal online banking, you'll need to transition to business online banking by November 1, 2021. Effective December 31, you will no longer have access to QuickBooks through personal online banking.

If you currently access QuickBooks through personal online banking, contact us at quickbooksconversion@westernbanks.com as soon as possible so that we can switch you to business online banking.
